First Aid / CPR

NFD 1 personnel provide education to the public and local businesses on fire extinguisher usage, CPR and First Aid for babysitters as part of the babysitters training course offered through the Town of Niskayuna’s Recreation Department, and CPR and First Aid training for the teachers and coaches of the Niskayuna School District.

NFD 1 also welcomes visitors to either of its fire stations for personal or small group tours as well as some fire prevention education. Just call the non-emergency number at 374-8386 to schedule a time. We frequently provide this service to local day cares, community groups, and elementary schools.
