The PFA is an organization of career firefighters who are committed to preventing fires and serving the community, including ensuring reliable, professional pre-hospital care to all residents of Niskayuna Fire District #1. All PFA members are also paramedics who are trained both to fight fires and provide emergency ambulance service

PFA members are highly trained and educated to respond quickly and effectively to a wide range of emergencies to make the Niskayuna Fire District #1 a safer place to live. Their skills are constantly updated to meet today’s rapidly changing community needs.
